What is the Fabric Frolic?

The Fabric Frolic is an event run each year where you can go shopping with a group of friends to all the participating shops in the Frolic. The shops are located in the eastern, outer eastern and south eastern suburbs of Victoria.

  • Free pattern from each shop.
  • Specials in every shop.
  • Each individual store prize will be open to any purchaser.

  • Visit all participating shops

    Visit all seven shops during the fabric frolic. A list of the participating shops is available on this website.

  • Get Passport stamped

    To go into the draw for the Major Prize, get your passport stamped when you make a $20 purchase at each participating store. If your purchase doesn’t qualify for the major prize, don’t worry, it will still qualify for all the other amazing prizes on offer.

  • Lodge your Passport

    Leave the completed passport in the container provided at the last store you visit.

  • Prizes draw

    Prizes are drawn 3 February 2026 and winners notified by telephone or email.

To go in the draw for the Major Prize, entrants must complete a valid passport by making a $20 purchase in each participating store. All other prizes are open to everyone who completes a valid passport when spending under $20 in each participating shop. The draw is a game of chance and will be conducted by the group and no correspondence will be entered into. Draw will take place on 3 February 2026 by an independent representative. Winners will be notified by phone. Results published in each store window, newsletter or class list. Information provided will be used for future direct mail from participating stores. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
